The Power of Attorney document gives the named agent legal authority to act on behalf of the individual signing the power of attorney, also known as the grantor or principal.  In your role as named agent, you are a fiduciary. As the named fiduciary, you have the responsibility to manage money or property for someone else and as such must be trustworthy, honest, and act in good faith on behalf of that individual.
